As
educators, if we fail to be different, if we fail

to
press the envelope and dare to challenge both
|
|
|
|
our
students’ and our own barriers or comfort
|
|
|
|
levels,
we will never truly educate.
Rather, we
|
|
|
|
will
continue to allow fear to alienate us from
|
|
|
|
each
other and breed yet more damaging
|
|
|
|
stereotypes. In effect, remaining in our comfort
|
|
|
|
zone
will cause us to fail to “bring the Outsider
|
|
|
|
in.”
